Play Therapy
Service Description
Play therapy is a developmentally appropriate form of mental health counseling designed especially for children. Instead of relying solely on conversation, therapists use play—the natural language of children—to help them express emotions, work through challenges, and build healthy coping skills. In a structured playroom with carefully selected toys, a trained play therapist creates a safe, accepting environment where children can explore their feelings, practice problem‑solving, and gain confidence. Because kids often communicate more freely through play than words, this approach allows them to share their inner world in a way that feels natural and comfortable. The therapist observes themes, supports emotional expression, and gently guides the process to promote growth and healing.
